Bones Style: The Passenger in the Oven

Sorry for the lack up updates, everyone. I haven't abandoned this blog; I've just been less than thrilled with the wardrobe choices that they've made for Brennan this season. It seems that in every episode, she wears the same thing: button down shirt, black pants/jeans and boots/shoes. Where have all the awesome dresses and outfits gone?

But I love hunting this stuff down, so I'm going to start searching for stuff from past episodes and other things Emily has worn to try to get my inspiration back.

First up, Brennan's sleep mask from Season 4's, The Passenger in the Oven.




During the opening scene, Brennan is wearing Bucky's 40 Blinks Mask Sleep Mask (Nouveau).

They retail for around $12, but they're definitely worth the money. My friend has one, and I tested it out, so I can vouch for its effectiveness :)

Bones Style: Brennan's Jewelry

There are two main L.A-based designers they use to accessorize Brennan: Aklia Chinn of Aklia, and Kate Lindsay. There was even a Farm Sanctuary auction to bid on one of Kate Lindsay's necklaces, that was worn in a Season 4 episode, back a few years ago (pictured above on the right). But, they've been known to get jewelry from other designers as well. During another Season 4 episode, "The Skull in the Sculpture", she wore the Indigo Necklace by Laura Elizabeth (pictured on the left)

Celebration for the Turkeys (11/22/08)

Emily wore Mociun's Amulet Dress to Farm Sanctuary's Celebration for the Turkeys this past Thanksgiving.

Though they only have size xs left in stock, the dress is currently on sale and can be bought from Kaight.

Emily arrived at at the annual luncheon of the Women’s Guild to honor Donna Karan, wearing an outfit designed by Karan, herself, and red faux leather heels by Stella McCartney.

Thanksgiving for the Turkeys - Farm Sanctuary in LA (11/22/2008)

Emily was at Farm Sanctuary in California on November 22, 2008 to speak at the annual Thanksgiving FOR the Turkeys that they have each year in both California and NY.

You can own your own "VEGAN" sweatshirt for only $30 by visiting the Shop at Farm Sanctuary. (S-XL) or by signing up for The Walk for Farm Animals in your city. They usually sell Farm Sanctuary merchandise at these events.
