TLFL: Bones - S5/S6 Grey Striped Sweater and Pom Pom Beret

During the Season 5 premiere, "Harbingers in the Fountain",  Brennan wore a grey striped sweater that I absolutely adored. Then a few weeks ago, she wore it again in "The Blackout in the Blizzard", paired with a really cute pom pom beret. From what I've read, a lot of people thought the outfit was great!

Shortly after an interview Emily did to promote the episode, I received an email from Jennifer wondering if I knew where she could get the hat.

I've yet to find the exact hat but I have found a pretty good "Look for Less" version of both the sweater and the hat; I just so happened upon the sweater while I was out shopping at Target a few days ago!

I found the sweater in Target, in store, on-sale for $13.99. I'm not sure if it's at all Target's, but it wouldn't hurt to see if they have it in stock if you want to save a few extra bucks. :)

In the Season 5 episode, A Night at the Bones Museum, Brennan wore this Laundry Printed Matte Jersey Dress w/ Buckle by Shelli Segal.

ED: Lunch @ M Cafe (September 29, 2009)

While out to lunch at M Cafe last year, Emily wore Loyale's Tara Blouse from the Spring 2009 collection, Cocobolo sunglasses from the "Zooey" collection (yes, as in Deschanel :p) by Oliver Peoples and her bag is a Mustard-Colored Japanese Paper Bag from Matt & Nat.

ZD: 500 Days of Summer Premiere (June 24, 2009)

Zooey was at the "500 Days of Summer" premiere and wore a dress from Naeem Khan's Resort 2010 Collection. Emily's outfit, from the same event, was featured previously on Deschanel Style.

Emily in Esquire UK (July '09)

Last Summer, Emily wore an amazing dress in the July '09 issue of Esquire UK.

The dress is from Marc Bouwer's Fall 2008 Collection and the shoes are by Stella McCartney.

ZStyle: The Fabric of Our Lives (Part I)

Lately, I've been finding myself gravitating towards Zooey Deschanel's style moreso than Emily's so I've decided to start adding Zooey's as well. This is DeschanelStyle, afterall. Don't worry, there will still be plenty of Emily/Brennan's clothes, but the blog will now focus on both of the Deschanel sisters.

Bones Style: A Night at the Bones Museum

So it seems that I'm not the only one that said "Oh, wow. Where can I get that dress?" after "A Night at the Bones Museum" aired a couple of weeks ago.  Someone wrote into Entertainment Weekly asking the very same questions, and they so nicely hunted down the information.

The dress is the Surplice Chiffon Dress by Adrianna Papell and can be bought at Nordstroms. You can also find the dress that Tamara Taylor (Cam) wore in the episode here. It, too, was designed by Adrianna Papell.
