On December 12, 2009, Emily attended a benefit, hosted by Vanity Fair and Cotton, for The Humane Society. At the event, Emily posed with this dress and the tag on it said, "2000's/Cotton Tuleh Autum Gold Floral Dress to be worn by Emily Deschanel in the 2009/2010 season 5 of Fox's Bones"
The dress was worn in the 100th episode, "The Parts in the Sum of the Whole" which aired on April 8, 2010.
